This article details the recommendations for assets and other widgets added to Enhanced Content. All recommendations are based on an average screen size of 1080px. An example preview following the below requirements can be viewed in the Puppy Product Preview.
Pro Tips:
To avoid white space, images that are side by side or are in a carousel should be the same aspect ratio as each other.
For the highest degree of confidence that your content will fit whatever space it is confined to, all images should be 1600px wide.

White Space Tips
Syndigo will never enlarge an image beyond its original size but can easily shrink an image to fit a width constraint.
If the image will used in various layouts, the image should be 1200px wide to take up the entire width of the screen in each widget. If it is the desire for the image to potentially take up the entire width of the screen, it is suggested that the image be 1200 pixels wide.
If you are adding images to be used in a carousel, images should be the same size.
However, if viewed in a carousel and 1 image is 1200px and the other image is 400px, then the 400px wide image could have white space on either side since the largest image will dictate the width of the widget.
The safest way to limit white space is to have all images at 800 pixels wide UNLESS the image is truly meant to be a rectangular banner that spans the entire width of the content at which point we recommend 1600 pixels wide.
Syndigo will never scale an image up, but it will shrink an image while retaining the aspect ratio (e.g. 16x9).
If images are placed next to eachother or in a carousel style layout (carousel widget or image widget with multiple images) then the images should be the same dimensions).
The largest image in a widget will dictate the height of the widget.

Section Headers and Captions: 100 characters
Descriptions: 10,000 characters
We advise using only the amount of words necessary to tell the story. Word counts for multiple images should be close in length when they are displayed in relation to each other (i.e. carousel widget, 4-column-row, comparison table widget, etc.).
The same captions and descriptions are displayed regardless of device, so it is important to keep them concise.
While we recognize that these dimensions may not be applicable to every account or content layout, our findings indicate that these are the optimal dimensions for general content addition.
