Shopping Engine Export is an additional paid-for service.
The Shopping Engine Export (SEE) Wizard allows you to export product catalogs out of ChannelOnline for use on shopping comparison sites or inclusion into an external ERP database. This feature also includes the activation for your store to be indexed by search engines, and to perform a Full Catalog export once every 24 hours.
Note: the exported SEE catalog will be based on the assigned Price Profile used in a specified storesite.
Export Requirements
The maximum number of SKUs allowed at one time (per export) is 100K, however, there is no limit on the amount of products exported in total. If you intend to export more than 100K SKUs, you must break up your catalogs into several custom catalogs, each containing 100K SKUs or less for the export. Otherwise, if you export your full catalog, only the first 100K products will be exported. You may create custom catalogs from the Admin | Catalog Admin menu.
Export Options
To begin exporting a Shopping Engine File:
- Click on the Shopping Engine Export link under the Export section to begin specifying the Shopping Engine Export Options.
- Choose the storesite from the dropdown menu you wish to export. This grabs the Price Profile to use and destination for product links.
- Choose the catalog from the dropdown menu you wish to export
- Click on Next.
- On the Product Match Info screen, select All, or multi-select only the categories needed for the export.
Note: Screen shows the selected storesite, default catalog, and number of products by category in the selected custom catalog.
Field Mapping / Export
The Field Mapping / Export screen will allow you to specify which fields to include on the shopping engine export file.
- If this is a first-time export, then [ New Profile ] will be selected by default for the profile and fields need to be manually specified for export.
- If you chose an existing export profile name, it should automatically choose the fields that you have previously exported in the profile
- Click on Start Export to begin exporting your catalog.
Export Status
The Export Status screen will display a status bar and refresh the page periodically to provide the progress.
When complete, the number of records exported will be displayed.
Click on the Shopping Engine Export file, and a download window will open, prompting you to save the export zip file containing the products and pricing information file, and copyright file.
