To begin exporting your Price Profiles:

  1. Click on the Price Profiles Wizard link under the Export section to begin specifying the Price Profiles Export Options.
  2. Select a Price Profile to export
  3. Select the rules you want to export: All, Category / Manufacturer (for only these rules), or Part # (for only part # rules)
  4. Select the fields to be exported on the Field Mapping / Export page:

If you choose an existing export profile name, it should automatically choose the fields that you have previously exported in the profile.

The export of pricing profiles from ChannelOnline creates a zip file containing 2 files: a Price Profile file and a Price Profile Rule file.

File One: The Price Profile file is intended to provide general information about the price profile including the Name, Description, Cost & Method, SalesRep, etc.

  1. Select the ChannelOnline Fields that you wish to export for the Price Profile by highlighting each field and clicking on the Add Fields > button to move them to the Export Fields column.
  2. Once you have Export Fields specified, you have the ability to set the order in which the fields appear in the export file. In order to set the order of the fields, perform the following steps:
    • Click on the field name in the Export Fields column to highlight the field.
    • Click on the Up or Down Arrows to move the field to the preferred location or order.

File Two: The Price Profile Rule file is intended to provide the category/manufacturer and part # pricing rules specified in the price profile.

  1. Select the ChannelOnline Fields that you wish to export for the Document Header by highlighting each field and clicking on the Add Fields > button to move them to the Export Fields column.
  2. Once you have Export Fields specified, you have the ability to set the order in which the fields appear in the export file as described in the previous section. Set the order of the Export Fields as needed.
  3. If this is a first-time export, you can save your export preferences as a profile for use in the future.
  4. Click Start Export to begin the export process.

Export Status
The Export Status screen will display a status bar and refresh the page every 1-2 seconds to provide the progress.
On successful export, a download window will open, prompting users to save the export zip file that contains the price profile information file, price profile rules file, and copyright file, to an external storage location.
