Is there a way when uploading a fuse file in item management to pinpoint specifically what 'errors' and 'warnings' prevent a material from being published?

Hi Audrey,
You can download your error messages from the Message Center. You would also be able to once uploaded validate the items to clear any publication errors. Do you know how to download the errore reports for Fuse files, have you completed these in the past?

After the file has been successfully uploaded, I go into item management, enter the playlist, and validate material. Several warnings pop up. How do I know what 'warnings' specifically prevent a material from being published. I understand Errors prevent publication, but there are certain warnings that also prevent publication and you never know which ones. is there a way when it says warning you could also add (will prevent publishing)? It's very confusing.

I have listed some links to content you might find helpful information.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.
Errors and Warnings
As you likely know, any error coming up in RED, like the error seen below, is a “hard-stop” error. If the error appears in red, this means that minimum information is missing, and the item cannot be saved or transmitted.
However, it’s also important to note that some orange “warning” messages will also actually prevent the transmission of data and some will not!
If the orange warning message has the word "WARNING:" at the beginning of the error, as in the example below, then this warning message is just a strong recommendation, but will not prevent the data from flowing out to the recipient.
If the orange warning message does not have "WARNING" at the beginning, as in the example below, then that means this attribute listed in the orange error is absolutely required. As long as that playlist is active on that item and the supplier is trying to publish to that recipient, then the data will not flow until that orange warning message is resolved. Note that in the orange message below, it even says that this attribute "is required".
We are slowly updating errors like the ones above to now include the words “PUBLICATION IMPACT:” at the beginning of the orange growler message to alert the customer to the fact that as long as they have that playlist active on that item, they must resolve that orange growler message before the data will flow to that recipient.
Also, please understand that those warning messages are specific to that playlist and recipient. So, for example, let’s say a customer has an item published to Dot Foods and to Walmart. Let’s say the orange growler ‘publication impact’ message is coming up for the Dot Foods playlist, but there are no warnings or errors associated with the Walmart playlist. That means the data will flow out just fine to Walmart and only the Dot Foods publication will be impacted.
You will find that in the IM Participant Dictionary, there is a tab called “IM Playlist Attributes”. It contains all the attributes associated with the “generic” industry playlists. We are not permitted to publish the list of attributes that are associated with specific recipient playlists because some of those attributes are proprietary and private.
We do, however, also have a tab on the IM PD called “IM Playlists” and it lists out all of the industry and recipient-specific playlists that are available.

I think i accidentally deleted my response. Thank you for the above response, it is very helpful. additional question, please: We want to streamline our customer attributes into 1 fuse file, meaning all attributes will be filled out for all customers. Example, Dot foods requires manufacturer ID, while Walmart does not. Will this negatively impact the information for Walmart? Additionally, how do we handle Maximum and Minimum storage temperature for products that do not require this, i.e. razors. Also, same question for shelf life. There is no shelf life for razors and blades. Thank you again for your assistance.

Hello,
I apologize for the delay in responding to you. When populating data onto an item there is no such thing as essentially having "too much" data the recipient will only pull the attributes they require when the item is published to them. As long as the item meets their requirements.
Thanks!

Hello,
When populating the Maximum and Minimum Storage Temp this is a required field when shipping to Kroger when shipping and should be set as 0 for min and 100 for max. Lastly, in regards to Shelf Life this field is only required when the product contains have ingredients or nutritionals. If no ingredients or nutritionals are populated this field is not needed.
Thanks!

Thank you for reaching out to our customer community. Welcome.
Kroger uses the Min and Max temp values for transportation, if items do not have a min or max temp then they can be transported on any truck from their DC.
Note: Min and Max temp values can be entered directly in VIP.
For items that do not have a Min and Max storage temp please use a Min temp of 0 and a Max temp of 100.
As for the Shelf Life, if there are no Ingredients or Nutritional values then Shelf Life will not be required.
