CIC999:The number of Items in a Complete Layer/GTIN Pallet Ti and Hi attributes were left blank

I received a message - CIC999:Item Returned for Review:VENDOR TO RESUBMIT|The number of Items in a Complete Layer/GTIN Pallet Ti and Hi attributes were left blank. Please populate values and resubmit. For a non-pallet dispatch unit, you can populate Number of Trade Items Per Pallet Layer/Non GTIN Pallet Ti and Hi.

The item i submitted was a non-pallet unit.

How can i solve this issue and get the IMF#??

Hi Maggie,

If the item is a non-pallet unit, you will populate those fields as if the item will be loaded on a pallet. The attributes will be required so we will need to enter the Non GTIN versions. We will be populated as if you will be palletizing the item for shipment.

Then how can i solve this issue?

Can you show me the guideline / step to step instructions that what i should do here? I already created "Case" and filled out the pallet information, but for the "Each", i have no idea where or how to solve this issue and no section to fill out this kind of information. Please help to show a CLEAR instructions!

Hi Maggie,

We need to make sure that the Dispatch unit is the Case, you should not get that validation on the each (unless its like a Clothes Dryer and has no parent. Can you confirm where the Dispatch unit is applied?

Does it mean that if I submit an non-pallet Item, no need to create Case? The item I need to submit is just a toy item itself inside a packaging box only.

So at the beginning I only created Each but I got the pallet message which I have no idea what to fill out.

Maggie,

I would follow the guidance of the Category Manager on how to submit to Kroger. The error is going to be tied to the Dispatch unit whichever is tagged as the shipping unit. If you were to have just an item you would enter how many would go onto a pallet, even if there is not actual pallet in the hierarchy.

I am still confused on what the difference is between the GTIN Pallet Ti and Hi fields and the Non/GTIN Pallet Ti and Hi fields.  Our Hierarchy is selling unit GTIN and Case GTIN.  We don't create separate GTIN's for the Pallet, isn't that the purpose of having TiHi data?  Anyway, do I put the same information in both sections?  I have always only entered TiHi information in the GTIN Pallet Ti and Hi fields?

Now my CIC report from the customer has errors, error is:  quantityOfLayersPerPallet (NON-Pallet GTIN) - One of pairs Quantity Of Trade Items Per Pallet Layer (NON-Pallet GTIN)/Quantity Of Layers Per Pallet (NON-Pallet GTIN) at the Highest Below Pallet level OR Items Per Pallet Layer/Layers Per Pallet at the Pallet level is required.
quantityOfTradeItemsPerPalletLayer (NON-Pallet GTIN) - One of pairs Quantity Of Trade Items Per Pallet Layer (NON-Pallet GTIN)/Quantity Of Layers Per Pallet (NON-Pallet GTIN) at the Highest Below Pallet level OR Items Per Pallet Layer/Layers Per Pallet at the Pallet level is required.

Thank you

Hello @jkirk and thanks for reaching out.  I understand this can get confusing and I am happy to help.  First, I recommend you look at this article:

https://community.1worldsync.com/t5/IM-Knowledge/Validation-for-TI-HI-and-Number-of-Items-Pallet/ta-...

The general idea for those sets of attributes is if you have a pallet GTIN in your Hierarchy, you should only populate the Pallet TI/Hi attributes.  If you do not have a pallet GTIN and need to communicate what a pallet configuration would look like but on the highest non-pallet GTIN, like a Case, you would populate the TI/HI on the non-GTIN Pallet TI/HI attributes.

Thank you for your response and clarification, that makes perfect sense.  These items have been setup for several years and did not initially have an error.
