Has anyone else been receiving constant "Review" messages stating that the number of items per pallet needs to be listed but the information is already in there? Also, "Review" messages stating that the Non-GTIN Ti Hi needs to be blank, but it already is blank? I have had these review messages for 3 - 4 months now and they will not disappear. I have been working with 1WS to get them corrected but they have not been able to. Just trying to find out if this is a problem for everyone else as well. Thanks!

Hello,
We appreciate you bringing this topic up so hopefully we can shed some light on the warnings for you and other suppliers.
This message about the number of items per pallet is a 1WorldSync data quality warning. The indication it is a warning, which will not stop synchronization, is the message begins with the word "WARNING". If the message does not begin with "WARNING", then it is an error and has stopped sync to a recipient(S).
We have put this particular validation in place to notify suppliers of the recommendation to complete attributes related Non GTIN Pallet Ti/Hi information.
1WorldSync performs validations on all items in IM based on several different factors.
GDSN Standard validations 1WorldSync system and data quality/completeness validations Recipient validations, based on playlists
All these validations may result in a warning (does not stop sync) or an error (does stop sync).
We post the messages (validation results) in several places. First, these are available in the growler and under the attribute in the IM GUI (online). Second, they can be viewed in the CIC Report. Lastly, we send a CIC Review so that our M2M and non 1WorldSync suppliers can have the messages to react to.
If the Pallet has a GTIN, it is entered as a hierarchy level. On that GTIN, Number of Complete Layers Contained in Item/GTIN Pallet Hi (hi), Number of Items in a Complete Layer/GTIN Pallet Ti (ti), and Quantity of Next Level Item(s) (totalQuantityOfNextLowerTradeItem) would be provided. These 3 attributes provide ti/hi information.
If a supplier has a pallet which does not have a GTIN, to provide ti/hi information, they need to enter this information on the case level using the NonGTIN attributes- Number of Complete Layers Contained in Item/Non GTIN Pallet Hi (nonGTINPalletHi), Number of Trade Items Per Pallet Layer/Non GTIN Pallet Ti (nonGTINPalletTi), and Number of Items/Pallet (numberOfItemsPerPallet), These 3 attributes align to the same attributes which would be on the Pallet GTIN.
To help improve data quality/completeness, 1WorldSync set up system-wide warnings to alert suppliers when they have not used all 3 of these when any of them are used.

Thank you, however, we would like the "warning" messages to go away once we put the required information in there. I can't decipher between my "warning" messages and my true "review" messages that I need to correct. This is very frustrating, and I have asked that these "warning" messages be removed from my Review Messages on my dashboard, but I have received nothing but pushback from 1WS. What do we (as customers of 1WS) need to do to have these messages removed? Please advise. Thank you.

Hello, We apologizes for the continued troubles regarding this review message. If you can provide me with one or two GTIN to test with? I can see if I can review the GTIN for any problems with the review messages being resolved correctly?

Maria,
May I review GTIN 10086600240876 CIC from A recipient - 2798 WARNING Number of Items/Pallet (numberOfItemsPerPallet) must be provided.
May I see if I can remove the CIC message from Mighty Oaks?

can't agree more here with the WARNING messages...I know I have talked to you before about it. These Topco ones are killing me. We had one the other day pop up. It has the images. It had all the images, we removed them to update them and BOOM there is that "CIC" message that we need 3 images. Now I get to have that in my supposed recipient requests review file....there has to be a better way here folks....

Ugh! Yes, it's very frustrating. I have explained to them over and over that if there is a warning message and we put the information in there, the warning message should go away. I was told that those will never go away but they don't seem to have an explanation as to why. It doesn't make sense if the information is in there that the warning message stay active. If we keep this up, we will eventually have thousands of warning messages that we all need to just "ignore". There just doesn't seem to be any logical reason for this. Hopefully they will come up with a solution that will work for everyone. 🙂

This still does not explain why they continue to appear under the Recipient Requests Review bucket on the dashboard if these are merely "Warning" messages. My number in this bucket keeps climbing when the data is there.

I did ask them to maybe move them to a bucket called hey...these could use attention and leave the recipient requests review for actual reviews. My number is climbing too and it causes anxiety.
