Hi 1WS Community,

Does anybody know the correct Handling Instructions code for the "dry/shelf stable" product, that should be kept in dry environment but refrigerated after opening?

Hello @uldana27, thank you for utilizing our customer community!

Most of the time it depends on the recipient on what codes they want to receive for the attribute " Temperature Activity Code ". I believe the screenshot that was provided was from Dot Food's Implementation Guide so I will advise on that, please correct me if my assumption was incorrect.

I would recommend the information be added for the following options under " Temperature Activity Code ":

Trade Item is being stored or handled.

Trade Item is in transport to the distribution center.

For a food item, you would also need to populate the attribute " Consumer Storage Instructions " where you can add that the consumer would need to refrigerate it after opening the product.

Please let me know if this helped or if I can provide additional assistance. Thank you!

Thank you for the additional information.

The "temperature activity code" in Sync/PDI is populated based on filling out the Min/Max temperatures for Storage, DC Delivery, and/or Market Delivery.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Julie,

Yes, this attribute requirement for DOT. If I understood correctly, I could identify it as a "Dry Storage product that require refrigeration after opening, is that correct"?

We use Sync PDI, and we don't have " Temperature Activity Code ":

  • Trade Item is being stored or handled.
  • Trade Item is in transport to the distribution center.

We should identify it here:
