Did you mean:

By Measure vs By Serving

I'm currently using the Reinhart Playlist.

I got this Warning:

Please provide 100 unit nutritional information. Use Nutrient Basis Quantity Type (nutrientInformation/nutrientBasisQuantityTypeCode) with a value of BY_MEASURE

1) Does 100 unit nutritional information mean 100g? or 100 eaches?

2) Most of our recipients want it by serving. How do I publish this information to Reinhart only? I do not see a way to publish a specific format of nutrition information to one recipient.

Kay,

You should publish by serving for Reinhart Foodservice. I consulted their Implementation guide and it provided the following.

Nutritional Notes:
100 Gram Information:
 Reinhart is welcoming and encouraging 100 Gram information, however, the information is not required at this time.

I noticed the GTIN you published earlier this month to Reinhart and has been accepted by Reinhart Foodservice. If you have any questions on Nutritional Attributes, please contact Meredith Hink, Corporate Nutrition Services Manager, at (608)793-9407 or mdhink@rfsdelivers.com

Kay,

You are using the Reinhart playlist and it asks for the Nutrient Basis Qty Type to be By Measure? The Measurement would 100 grams but you would enter the number of grams for your product.

How do I publish to Reinhart with the Nutrient Basis qty type by measure, but continue to publish to our other recipients that want it By Serving?

Kay,

Please bear with me while I confirm the answer to your inquiry. I want to make sure I have the information is verified before I advise on the best way to publish that attribute.

Thank you!
