BUY AMERICAN PROVISION COMPLIANCE - SYSCO

SYSCO is requiring us to select values for Buy American Provision Compliance, including providing a Certificate of Origin - Buy American Provision and indicating Yes or No to certify that all products distributed by Alpha Baking Company, Inc. are manufactured in the USA and comply with the Buy American Provision. 

Where in IM are these fields found and how do I upload a .pdf of our Buy American Certification ?

Oh Man! It is SO good to hear all this validation, I am usually all alone in my frustration. Thank You all for just letting me know I am not alone 🙂

I had tried what @Kateryna did yesterday and thought it was an error when the section disappeared. Today I checked it as I had saved it blank and left it alone for a day, today it has changed from yes to NO! YAY! I will make the changes to all my items today and if they do not update by tomorrow, I will ask them to update. THANK YOU for your input.

I wanted to update everyone to say this direction from @Kateryna to answer No to the Buy American Regulation did work for me. I did not have to ask for Sysco to update as I waited overnight and it was updated by then. Since I had added the Buy American regulation type code for everything the day before, I used the FUSE template to delete them all. I left the GROUPBREAK there and deleted the Regulation Type Code and Regulation Compliance Indicator, saved it and uploaded as usual.

I also received a response from GDSN@sysco.com, see below. But I think I am good until the next update, lol

Do you mean that, after adding the attributes and Sysco received them correctly, you deleted them in the FUSE?

We have some items that will need certificates to be uploaded to 1WS for the Buy American Provision.  Does our Art/Photo Department name the certificates like the images I submit for the items or is there a difference in how we name them?

Please, see screen shot attached showing an example of how our items are named for 1WS.
