Can you delete a created item?

I created a item in PI and did it incorrectly. I entered in the information by typing it in vs. pulling over from the GDSN. Now I would like to create this product in PI and initiate it through the GDSN. How can I remove the incorrect item. I have set it as Delist but I believe it is still hindering me to create the product the correct way through the GDSN. Can anyone help?

Hello @THoot333 and welcome to the customer community.  Thanks for reaching out.  Unfortunately, you cannot delete items out of the PI portal but you can certainly publish your GDSN version of the same GTIN to your trading partner.  In PI, if you search by that GTIN, you will see the GDSN and non-GDSN versions.  Disregard the non-GDSN version and update and submit the GDSN version you published after you finish your work on it in PI.
