AWG Regulatory Information Attribute

For AWG, Regulatory Information Attribute.   Anyone else get the notice to go in and add tracability regulation? , FSMA204?

Does it have to be entered in to the each level? or the case level?  I don't want to enter for both if I don't have to, due to time restrictions.  I would like not to waste time!

Thank you for any help and information you have on this!

Hello @jackiebThank you for utilizing our customer community. Welcome back.

If a retailer requests additional food traceability details, you can use the information from our video and discussions here Food Safety and Modernization Act (FSMA204) as an starting point for Item Management. You can add the Regulation Type Code, Regulatory Act, Regulation Compliance Indicator, Regulation Restrictions and Descriptors attributes where applicable, please.

You can use the Food and Beverage Products Playlist in Item Management as it contains all attributes above. For more details about adding and using Playlists, please see 1WorldSync Playlists Video.

Please let us know if this helped or if there is anything else we may help with for this request. Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Thank you for the information Val!   I was wondering, can you tell me if I am to put this information in the each/unit level, or the case level?  I don't believe it has to be both?  I will of course check out everything you gave me here.  Maybe that answer is there?

Thank you again for the help,

Jackie

Hello @jackieb, it's great chatting with you again.

You can add the FSMA204 - Food Traceability information - at the Each level of your hierarchy only, please. It is not necessary on logistical units, only on consumer units (the items sold in the stores to the customers).

I hope this helps. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with and we would be delighted to! Thanks!

Hi Val,

One more question.  Do I have to republish? Or do I just save and it will flow over?

Hi @jackieb , it’s great chatting with you again.

It depends for which retailer you need to update the information. Most of the times no, as any updates are automaticall sent to all retaielrs, however:

  • for Wakefern you need to Republish as New if an item was previously published but not yet marked as Synchronised by Wakefern
  • for McLane you need to Republish as New if an item is in Complete Status in Product Introduction and you need to update it
  • for Walmart, on rare occasions, if their systems (SupplierOne) are not receiving the updates, you can Republish your items
  • for Dot Foods you can Republish as Initial Load if you need to update any information for an item previously submitted.

Otherwise, Republshing is not necessary.

Please let us know if this helped or if there is anything else we may help with for this request. Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Hi Val,

Huge help, thank you!  It is for Associated Wholesale Grocers. Under Albertsons I believe they are.  They requested this to be done.  It's good to know I won't have to republish them all, and just hit Save.   Although, for me, I was given a list of items for them to make the change to, yet, a lot of them, weren't even published to begin with!  So, that will be my project.

I think I am good for now.  Thank you again for all of your help, I feel much better about where we stand with this.
