Use existing eCatalogs as templates to create new eCatalogs.
An eCatalog is a read-only view of products that includes attributes, digital assets, and content for selected products. It allows you to share products with recipients who do not have access to Syndigo or with internal contacts. Read more about eCatalogs, how to create them, and how to select setup details here.
You can use an existing eCatalog as a template for a new eCatalog by duplicating the existing one and then editing the duplicate's details.
Note:
When duplicating an existing eCatalog, the duplicate will contain all the same setup selections as the eCatalog it was copied from, but will be fully editable. Editing the duplicate will not affect the setup selections in the existing/original eCatalog.
If duplicating a password protected eCatalog, you will need to either assign a password for the newly created eCatalog, or set the “password protected” option to “No.” Duplicated eCatalogs do not assume the passwords of their “source” eCatalogs.
