What is happening with ContentCast, and why am I being upgraded?
You are being upgraded from ContentCast to the Syndigo Enhanced Content solution, a unified platform that combines the strengths of ContentCast and 1WorldSync’s Enhanced Content experience. This upgrade delivers a more intuitive UI, more automation, expanded syndication reach, and advanced tools to help you scale product experiences with less manual effort.
When can I expect my upgrade to the Syndigo Enhanced Content solution?
Upgrades are scheduled in coordinated waves to ensure a smooth, seamless transition for every customer. You will receive advance notice with a clear timeline and next steps.
Will my live content be affected?
No. There is no disruption to your live Enhanced Content on retailer sites during the upgrade.
Should I anticipate any downtime during this upgrade?
On the day of your upgrade (Friday), your access will be set to read-only in ContentCast. Then, Syndigo will migrate your content and assets and validate that everything was upgraded successfully. On Monday, you will be sent confirmation that your upgrade is complete and provided with login credentials to the Enhanced Content platform.
You can expect a scheduled downtime of editing content from Friday to Monday during the upgrade process.
Will I need to manually move any content, pages, or data?
No. Your existing product content, enhanced content modules, and syndication connections will be migrated automatically. No manual recreation or re‑uploading is required.
Will my existing workflows or data change?
Your core workflows remain intact, but the new platform introduces expanded capabilities and a more intuitive experience. Any changes will be improvements—not replacements—designed to reduce manual effort.
