Learn about different types of attributes and how to view them on the Product Details page.

Every Product Details page contains all the attributes associated with that product. Attributes are organized into groups called Requirement Sets. A Recipient's Requirement Set can be linked to any product.

To view a product’s attributes, navigate to the Products tab, select the check box(es) next to your product(s) and click Edit or Bulk Edit from the Actions Bar towards the top of the screen. You will be taken into the edit view of your choice, with the attributes of your product displayed.

Types of Attributes

Basic Attributes - Most attributes in Syndigo are considered basic attributes. These require a simple response that may be provided in free text, choice lists, or Yes/No formats depending on the attribute. Examples include Product Name, UPC, GTIN, Feature Benefit Bullets, etc.

Conditional Attributes - Some attributes may require additional information to be populated. For example, if a “Yes” response is provided to the attribute California Prop 65 Warning Required, the Prop 65 Warning Label asset is subsequently required. These additional attributes are flagged as required based on your response.

Complex Attributes - A complex multi-value attribute is made up of a Parent attribute and multiple, related Child sub-attributes. For example, if a product has shipping restrictions (Parent attribute), the related Child sub-attributes would be the country, state, city, restriction notes, and restriction effective and expiration dates.

Sections of Product Attributes

Only attributes that correspond to the chosen Requirement Set are displayed. To change the Requirement Set, choose a Recipient and Requirement Set from the dropdown menu above the attributes.

Sections of product attributes may vary based on Requirement Set. A few common sections include:

Marketing - The shopping experience, the fulfillment process, or a stocking system.

Digital Assets - Product photos; Edit or remove assets by clicking on the three-dot icon in the corner of the thumbnail. Learn more about uploading and editing assets.

Logistics - Packaging dimensions and weights; Other details, such as voltage or shipping restrictions also appear here.

Specifications - Attributes specific to the selected Product Category.

Custom Sections - In a custom Requirement Set, you can add any section or attribute you wish. These can be specific to your internal teams and workflow or to a Custom Recipient.

Attribute Filters on Product Details Page

In the Attributes tab on the Product Details page, filter attributes by using the options in the filter dropdown below the search bar on the right. Select a filter to filter or jump to a section.

Readiness Score - The percentage of completeness for your selected Requirement Set. When it reaches 100%, all required attributes have been completed with an acceptable response based on the associated Requirement Set. Once a Requirement Set is completed for a Recipient, the product is ready to be published. Attributes that require attention will be grouped by issue type and can be quickly filtered by applying a filter via the “Filter” dropdown on the right side of the page, or by selecting the red issue type icon, located near the readiness score.

All Attributes - View all attributes in the selected Requirement Set. To change the set, choose a Recipient and Requirement Set from the dropdown menu above the attributes.

Not Populated - Any attribute that hasn't been populated, including both required and optional attributes.

Critical Errors - Required Attributes with incomplete or unacceptable values; Critical Errors prevent publication and must be resolved.

Needs Review - Recipient requested updates to better align with company-specific styling and formatting; Requested changes must be addressed before re-publishing.

Required Not Populated - Required attributes left blank. All required attributes must be populated prior to publishing.
