In addition to using search functionality to find specific products, users may also choose to use filters. Filters make it easy to recall a product or group of products based on specific criteria.
The Filter Modal
The filter modal is the primary means of filtering products in the Syndigo platform. The filter modal can be accessed by clicking Add Filter from the following sections in Syndigo:
- Product Index
- Marketplace Index
- Reports
- Report Builder
- Recipients > All Products
Below are some of the options users will find in the filter modal:
Recipient Lens
- Optional
- Select one or more recipients from the dropdown to recall the products that are linked to the selected recipients.
Note: Once a recipient lens is selected, all additional filter options will be applied only to products within that lens.
Product Context
- Optional
- This section of the menu contains some of the most frequently used filter options, including, but not limited to:
- Unique IDs - Select the Unique ID to filter and copy+paste list when prompted. After one Unique ID is added, additional Unique IDs can be added. The search will be an “and” search.
- Taxonomy - Recall products that are linked/unlinked to one or more retailer-specific taxonomies in Syndigo.
- Category - Click to build a filter based on the selected categories within a retailer-specific taxonomy.
Data Quality
- Optional
- This section of the menu highlights key product readiness statuses consistent with those exposed on the Syndigo Product Dashboard.
Publication Status
- Optional
- Potential Publication Statuses include:
- Not Published - All products that have not been published to the given recipient.
- Awaiting Subscription - Products that have been published to the given recipient, but still need a subscription from the recipient before the content can be delivered. (The subscription-publication model may not be applicable to some recipients.)
- Awaiting Response - Products that have been validated and published but are awaiting a systematic confirmation of successful publication to the recipient.
- Error - Any products that require a manual issue to be fixed by Syndigo's support team. Contact support by visiting https://www.syndigo.com/support or call 855-SYNDIGO.
- Pending Supplier Action - Products that have been published but need additional attention from the supplier. More information on what actions should be taken can be found in the red "Needs Review" tab on a Product Details Page.
- Pending Recipient Action - Some products require manual review by the recipient before content is synchronized. These products are undergoing a recipient-specific "QA Check" by the recipient. Once reviewed, products will either move to "Synchronized" or "Pending Supplier Action."
- Synchronized - Products that have been approved. Data has been received and accepted by the Recipient.
Attribute Values
- Optional
- Attribute value filters can be applied to recall products based on a populated (or unpopulated) attribute value.
- Follow the prompts to build an Attribute Value filter and select the appropriate Attribute Category and Attribute from the dropdowns.
- Based on the attribute selected, users can choose a value to filter to, or enter a free text value. (By default, the "Has" option is selected. To filter to products that do not contain the selected/entered value, users can select the "Does not have" option.)
Saved Filters
- Optional
- When using filters to generate a customized list of products users can create Saved Filters to easily be applied in future searches.
To create a Saved Filter, make your selections above, and click SAVE AS. To apply a Saved Filter, select it from the list.
