Edit Complex Attributes

Edit a single Complex Attribute or edit multiple in Bulk Edit.

A complex attribute is made up of a Parent attribute and multiple, related sub-attributes. For example, if a product has shipping restrictions (parent attribute), the related sub-attributes would be the country, state, city, restriction notes, and restriction effective and expiration dates. These attributes need to be treated differently when editing, exporting, and publishing.  

Edit a Single Complex Attribute 

1. From the lefthand navigation panel, click Products.
2. Select a product and click Edit.
3. Select the Recipient and Requirement Set in the dropdown menu above the attributes. 
4. Navigate to the complex attributes. 
5. Edit the values of the attribute.  
   PRO TIP: When selecting the Parent attribute from the dropdown menu, the sub-attributes will populate. If you later change the Parent attribute, the corresponding sub-attributes—and any populated values—may change. 
6. Click Save Changes.  

Edit Complex Attributes with Bulk Edit 

1. From the lefthand navigation panel, click Products.
2. Click the checkboxes beside the products you wish to edit. 
3. Click Bulk Edit in the Actions Bar at the top. 
4. In Bulk Edit, navigate to the appropriate Requirement Set and click the complex attribute to view it.  
5. Click Add Value to add more values to the complex attribute or Remove to remove the entire complex attribute. 
6. Click OK.  
7. Click Save Changes.
