The Syndigo Marketplace helps suppliers efficiently send product content to our network of dozens of grocery retailers. You can submit a product before it’s in the market so that it’s ready to go the minute you want retailers to have it! Follow the steps below to put products on hold and submit them for content verification publish them to the Marketplace:

  1. Add a new product or open an existing product.
  2. If the product is new, click Save Changes and you will see Manage Lifecycle in the menu options. If the product is not new, the Manage Lifecycle option should already be available in the top right corner of the Product Details Page.
  3. Select Manage Lifecycle from the menu. You will see the following options:
    • Put Products On Hold?
    • Discontinue Product?
    • Delete Product?
  4. To put a product On Hold, move the Put Products On Hold? toggle to the right.
  5. The On Hold Start Date will default to today’s date indicating the start of the on hold period, but can be updated.
  6. You are not required to set an On Hold End Date if you'd like to put the product on an indefinite hold or you don’t know when the hold period will end. If you do know the end date of the on hold period, you can set it in the On Hold End Date field.
  7. Click Update to save the On Hold Status. At the top of the Product Details page you will see a banner showing ‘This product is on hold’ and the On Hold End Date if set.

Add or update content and images for the product. When the content is complete, publish the item to the appropriate ‘Verify My Product’ recipient. The On Hold status and dates will remain on the product all the way into the Marketplace.

If you’ve added an On Hold End Date, the product will automatically become active and be sent to grocery recipients on that date.
