How to create a case and each with the same GTIN in Product Introduction

Each has been created but I need to create case. However, it is not allowing me to create a new item because the GTIN in each is the same as for case. How can I create a case and each with the same GTIN in Product Introduction?

Hello @Ryanna and welcome back.  The GS1 standards do not allow for you to create the exact same GTIN with the same Target Market and GPC for multiple levels of your product hierarchy.   Typically, your consumer unit/Each is created by taking your product's 12 digit UPC and add two zeroes to the beginning to create the 14 digit GTIN.  Your Case, if not a consumer unit, should have a unique GTIN assigned to it related to that UPC but not starting with "00."  Instead, it can start with 10, 20, 30, all the way thru 80 using the same UPC.  When adding the two numbers to the beginning other than "00" you must also change your check digit on the far right of the UPC.

Here is some info regarding creating GTINs and a link to the GTIN Check Digital Calculator to help you.
