How do content updates work through this platform? Would that be done through Item Management or Rich Content? And when I say content I mean updated imagery, language, titles, descriptions, etc. Any information and help with this is greatly appreciated!

Since we offer a range of solutions and position ourselves as a one-stop shop, it depends on the specific product you’re referring to. I’m confident we can support you on this.

From your description, it sounds like you may be referring to above-the-fold content.

If you’re an existing customer and have a specific challenge, I’d recommend contacting Support directly. For product guidance or scoping, our Pre-Sales and Sales teams are best placed to advise you and provide the most accurate information.

It depends on the retailer(s) you need to submit the data to and what kind of data you need to update. For GDSN data, it should always be Item Management, please.

Rich Content is non-GDSN, marketing-oriented content distributed alongside item data, such as enhanced product descriptions, lifestyle or usage images, brand stories, videos, comparison charts (where supported).

Does the Rich Content cost extra money to be able to access and upload those kinds of assets? I am still very new to the platform as a whole and trying to get a better understanding of it all and its functionalities.

Great question. Rich Content is available to you at no additional cost. The content itself is typically provided and sponsored by participating brands.

The standard integration is JavaScript-based, and you can find more information in the Generic Inline Content Integration - 1WorldSync Customer Community. Please note that the script shown in the guide is for demonstration purposes, and your assigned identifiers may differ.

Please also note that 1WorldSync is currently migrating to the Syndigo ecosystem - so the integration might differ in the future.
