Wakefern Item Management

Hello,

I am working on publishing a handful of our items to Wakefern. They are currently "Complete" in the Product Introduction portal for Albertson's, but are not showing in the general "Item Management" Portal. How do I get them to show up there? I also need to edit the GTINs on a few of the items as someone on our team set them up incorrectly ages ago.

Hello  and welcome back to the Community.  Thanks for reaching out.  I looked in the Albertsons portal since you mentioned you had success there and confirmed what I suspected.  It looks like you created your items in the PI portal which is certainly an option but not as easy to manage if you want to also send your product content to other trading partners.  The PI portal is more of an inbound tool and is not used to send content to non-PI recipients (those outside of Kroger, Albertsons, and McLane).

As a 1WS customer and more specifically a GDSN / Item Management customer, the best practice is to create and manage your product content in IM and use it to publish to all your trading partners including those in PI.  You could then go to PI and top-off their portal specific attributes and submit.

For Wakefern, you will need to create your items in IM and publish them to Wakefern.  Here is a link to a couple of areas to help you successfully sync with Wakfern.
