Costco / Syndigo

Am I understanding correctly that the ONLY way to publish to Costco is through Syndigo's platform? I was sent instructions and training to use the syndigo platform for all Costco publications.

Hello @credcat71 and welcome to the customer community.  Thanks for reaching out.  No, that is not true.  As a customer of 1WS datapool services, you can publish to any trading partner that uses 1WS or any other certified datapool, including that one.  You can use IM to publish to all trading partners in the GDSN

Is there a listing of the Costco GLN?

Hello, I took a look and although we have many of the Implementation Guides for external trading Partners HERE, we do not have one for Costco.  Do you have a contact at Costco to confirm the GLN they want you to use for publications?  I do see this GLN for them but it is one of a few:  0096619000005

Thanks I did find those in my search as well , I am waiting to hear back from my team internally about our customer to understand which Costco I should be focused on

I just had the weirdest conversation with Syndigo who told me the Costco is "No longer accepting GDSN data" and requires all information to be provided as "marketing data" through the syndigo portal. Am I missing something here because this makes absolutely NO sense. In essence they are requiring me to create an import file to publish to costco , is that NOT publishing through GDSN?

I reviewed the Costco GLN 0096619000005 and see it is still registered in the Global Registry as part of GDSN. I would recommend confirming that information with a Costco contact to ensure that is accurate information. Thank you!
