Sysco Packaging Requirements

Sysco has add additional packaging fields to their GDSN requirements and I'm having difficulty finding these fields:

• packagingfeaturetypecode
• packagingcomonentdescription
• packagingleveltypecode
• PackagingRecycledContentCode
• PackagingRecycledContentRatio

Is there a special playlist I should be looking at?

Hello @scottrosenberg and welcome back to our customer community. Thanks for continuing the use of the community.

The easiest way to find any attribute you are looking for in Item Management is to start from the Participant Dictionary linked here. Sometimes, some attributes will only be available under certain Playlists and will be hidden in the defaul view, in which case the IM Playlists Attributes sheet in the file above will come in handy. Also, sometimes, certain retailers may use slightly different internal attribute names then the names you see in our systems. in which case you can ask them for the GDSN BMS ID(s) of the attribute(s) in question.

We recommend using the IM Participant Dictionary document > IM Participant Dictionary tab to search for specific fields.

Given that Sysco might be using their own attribute names, kindly make sure that the GDSN/XML name of the field is used for the search. This should be visible in Sysco's platform. You might see instructions for the required fields, maybe by hovering over the name of those attributes or the "i" icon next to it, where applicable. Sysco can also advise on the GDSN name of the field or the BMS ID.
