Understanding Content Health Reports

Purpose: Content health reports evaluate the quality of your product display pages (PDPs) based on customizable retailer-specific grading rubrics.

Function: These reports categorize your PDPs into three priority levels:

  • High Priority (Red): Needs immediate improvement.
  • Medium Priority (Yellow): Requires optimization.
  • Good Standing (Green): Meets retailer standards.

We recommend regularly reviewing content health reports to prioritize improvements, allocate your time efficiently, and optimize high-impact attributes.

Learn About Content Health Templates

Definition: Templates define how your content is scored based on retailer criteria.

Key Role: They determine which category (red, yellow, green) your PDPs fall into.

Important Note: You do not need to edit templates to use the reports.

Step 1: Access Content Health Templates

  1. Navigate to the Configurations Tab in the platform.
  2. Select Analytics Control Center.
  3. Click Content Health Scoring Templates.
  4. Choose a template and click Download to view its details.

Step 2: Interpret the Template Details

Sheets in the template:

  1. Retailer Overview: Indicates which retailer the template applies to.
  2. CH Conditions:
    • Lists attributes like images, titles, reviews, and descriptions.
    • Shows severity levels (Red, Yellow, Green) with corresponding scores.
    • Example: Images
      • Red: No images = 20% score.
      • Yellow: 1-2 images = 55% score.
      • Green: 3+ images = 100% score.
  3. Weights & Best Practices: Explains how each attribute impacts the overall grade.
    • Example: Images may account for 30% of the total grade.
  4. Acceptable Field Sheet: Lists all attributes that can be scraped and graded, e.g., star ratings or unanswered questions.

Step 3: Prioritize Attributes

Focus on high-weight attributes like images and descriptions as, depending on the retailer, they significantly affect your score.

  • Example:
    • Images: Worth 30% of the grade.
    • Description: Similarly weighted and crucial for optimization.
