Learn about what Requirement Sets are and the Syndigo Default Requirement Set.

Requirement Sets are a list of attributes that a Recipient has determined essential. Linking a product to the Requirement Set brings those required attributes into the  Product Details page so they can be populated correctly and completely. When all requirements are met, the product can be published.

Anatomy of a Requirement Set

Every Requirement Set contains a significant amount of information. Some of the main components of a Set that organize the information are:

Attribute Groups: They divide and organize the attributes into smaller sections on the Product Details page. The names given by a Recipient or in a  Recipient Profile will appear as the section labels on the Product Details page.

Attributes: These are the individual pieces of product content that are published to a Recipient. It can all be found on the Product Details page.

Required Designation: The distinction of whether the attribute is required or optional for the specific recipient.

Language/Locale: The language/locales that are required or optional for the specific Recipient.

Taxonomy: Category attributes, based on taxonomy, can be included or excluded in the Requirements Set. If it's included, a taxonomy collection from Syndigo must be chosen.

Syndigo Default Requirement Set

When there is no linked Requirement Set for a product, the default set of attributes will follow the Syndigo Default Requirement Set.

It’s based on standard industry requirements and contains many common attributes that will be found in Requirement Sets linked to in the future.

To view the Requirement Set, navigate to the Product Details Page and toggle to the Syndigo -Syndigo Default Requirement Set.

To use a different set for a product, link to a Recipient Requirement Set or create a Custom Requirement Set.
