Create an Asset Folder

Add a new Asset Folder and Sub-Folder.

Like Product Sets, Asset Folders help organize assets once they are uploaded. Folders can be created for things like a specific category or for a specific product launch. Once a Folder is created, sub-folders can be added for further organization of assets. 

Folders can be renamed or deleted without affecting the individual assets within the Folder —they will still appear in the Asset Library. 

Create a New Asset Folder 

1. From the lefthand Navigation Bar, click Assets.
2. Select the assets you wish to add to a folder by clicking on the box to the left of your assets. Click  Add to Asset Folder.
3. From the Add to Asset Folder pop up, click  Create New Asset Folder. 
4. Enter a name for the Folder.
5. Click Add. 

Once created, the Asset Folder can be viewed/managed from the Folders tab of the Asset Library.

Create a New Asset Subfolder

Once assets are assigned to a Folder, they can be further organized into subfolders. 

1. From the lefthand Navigation Bar, hover over Assets and click Folders. 
2. Search/select the Collection by clicking the Folder name. 
3. Click Create New Sub Collection. 
4. Enter a name for the subfolder. Click Create.  
5. To add assets to the subfolder, select assets from the All Assets tab.
6. Click Add to Asset Folder.
7. Select a primary folder from the drop-down menu. A second drop-down menu will appear; Select an asset subfolder from the second drop-down menu.
8. Click Add.

Once created, the subfolder can be viewed/managed by selecting the appropriate Folder from the Folders tab.
