Overview of Enhanced Content experiences and the various Enhanced Content widgets you can create.

Enhanced Content (EC) is any product content that uses rich media or other interactive elements to enhance your product experience for the end consumer. This content can be broken down into unique collections for each product.

A collection is a created "folder" of enhanced content widgets for a website/list of websites that can be filtered further by locale/language.

The Syndigo platform provides editing tools and options to help you upload, assemble, and syndicate these enhanced content collections.

Within your content collection, there are different experiences that you can enhance.

Enhanced Content Experiences

The Hero Image

The Hero Image is compelling, conversion-winning content on the most-viewed, top of the page area of a site that captivates shoppers who aren’t committed to scrolling down a product page. This is typically the Main Product Images.

The Hero Image is made more powerful through two experience types:

Contextual Hotspots: Place hotspots on the hero image and let users zoom in on key details, like feature descriptions, photo captions, videos, and image galleries.

Interactive Toolbar: The Interactive Toolbar serves up your best assets in the most lucrative, eye-catching page positions. Deliver visually interactive, mobile-responsive rich media assets to the prime product page real estate.

In-line Content

In-line Content is the detailed content that provides a deeper dive into relevant product details. It is the content that immerses shoppers who are moving into the consideration phase on the path to purchase (eg. comparison charts, interactive product guides, lifestyle images).
