Syndication has conversion-based data and insights available to provide best practice templates at a product category level. Because we are able to track conversion data on many sites worldwide, we know which widgets yield the best conversion rates when present in Enhanced Content. We are able to further segment that data by product category!
Users will be able to build their collections by first selecting a template and then filling in the preconfigured widgets with their assets.
As trends evolve and more data becomes available we will update templates and add new ones for new categories over time.
In addition to giving our clients a great starting point to build beautiful and engaging content, we also believe that these best practice templates are a great tool for improving conversion rates!
How to Select and Use a Template
- Open your product's Enhanced Content page.
- Select Use Template.
- Select a template group to apply.
- Choose template to apply.
- Pre-Configured widgets will now be displayed. Configurations are initially locked so that changes cannot be made.
- All required fields of all widgets must be entered. This includes assets such as images, video, documents and in some cases, text.
- If there is a desire to change the configuration of a widget or remove a widget, click Detach from Template. This allows the user to add/remove/modify the widgets without any restrictions.
- Ensure once more that all required fields have either an asset or text entered. A yellow warning icon will persist if there are missing required fields.
- Click Publish.
