Creating and Managing Product Sets

Product Sets allow users to create and manage custom “sets” of products so that those products can easily be grouped/managed together within the Syndigo platform.

Create a New Product Set

1. Click Products > Product Sets.
2. Click the Create New button.
3. Enter a name for the Product Set. (This name will be the primary way to identify the Product Set and is visible to all users within the account.)
4. Click Create Set.

Now that the Product Set has been created, it can be found in the grid and within Product Set filters across the platform. The next step is to add products to the Product Set.

Add or Remove Products to/from Product Sets

Products that have been imported/created in your Syndigo account can easily be added or removed to a Product Set from the Product Index.

To Add Products:

1. Click Products > Active Products from the left hand navigation panel.
2. Use the Search and Filter options and click the checkboxes of the appropriate product(s).
3. Click Add to Product Set in the Actions Bar at the top.
4. Select an existing Product Set and click Add Product. (Users can also create a new Product set from this pop-up window).

To Remove Products:

1. Access the Product Set from the Product Index dropdown or from the Product Sets view.
2. Use the Search and Filter options and select products to be removed.
3. Click Remove from Product Set in the Actions Bar at the top.

Duplicate a Product Set

Sometimes the easiest way to create a Product Set is to duplicate an existing Product Set and add/remove products as needed.

To Duplicate a Product Set:

1. Click Products > Product.
2. Select the product set and click Duplicate.
3. Enter a name for your duplicated Product Set in the pop-up window that appears.

Bulk Edit All Products within a Product Set

One of the biggest advantages of Product Sets is the ability to quickly access the products together in Bulk Edit view.

To edit and/or view all products within a Product Set, select the Product Set from the grid and click Bulk Edit from the actions bar to edit items in Bulk Edit view.

Delete a Product Set

To delete a single or multiple sets, select the set(s) you wish to delete. Click Delete to permanently erase it. The products themselves will not be deleted—they will remain in the Product Index page and in any other Product Sets they appear in.
