Create a custom Requirement Set for a Custom Recipient.

Requirement Sets define the content needed for a given Recipient. They can be found in the Recipient Profile. New Requirement Sets can be created for only Custom Recipients, as every other type of Recipient determines their own Requirement Set.

When creating a custom Requirement Set, you will define attributes, attribute sections, required and optional statuses, required language variants, and category attributes.

Create a New Requirement Set

  1. Navigate to the Recipients List by clicking Connections in the lefthand navigation bar.
  2. Select the Custom Recipient the new Requirement Set will be linked to. Filter the list by selecting "Manually Configured" in the Recipient Type dropdown menu at the top.
  3. Click the Requirement Sets tab in the top tool bar.
  4. Click Create New
  5. In the top left of the screen, provide the Requirement Set name, select target locale, choose whether to include category attributes, and if you chose to include attributes, select a taxonomy.
  6. If you would like to have a single attribute multiple times change the Allow Duplicate Attributes toggle to Yes.
  7. Create attribute groups. You can customize the names, change the order, and delete groups.
  8. To add an attribute to a section, Click Add Attributes in the upper right. This will open the Attribute Finder modal. This modal will allow you to add attributes from any requirement set already linked to your account or from Syndigo’s entire attribute Library.
  9. Select the attributes you would like to use by clicking the check box and selecting a section to add them to then click ADD (x).
    • Note: The More Info section of the Attribute Finder Modal will provide you with the choice list of the attribute.
  10. Define the attribute requirements:
    • Alias: This name will appear as the attribute name throughout the rest of the Syndigo platform, which can be helpful to people inputting content.
    • Editable: Mark this as an “Editable” or “Read Only” attribute.
    • English (US): Mark this as required or optional.
    • Local Requirements: Click the globe icon to mark languages as required or optional.
  11. If you have chosen to include category attributes in your Requirement Set you can edit the attribute requirements by selecting the Taxonomy and choosing the desired product category you would like to modify. You will then be provided with the following information for the attribute:
    • Alias: This name will appear as the attribute name throughout the rest of the Syndigo platform, which can be helpful to people inputting content.
    • Editable: Mark this as an “Editable” or “Read Only” attribute.
    • English (US): Mark this as required or optional.
    • Local Requirements: Click the globe icon to mark languages as required or optional.
  12. To delete an unwanted attribute, click the trash icon to the right of the attribute.
  13. Click Save Requirement Set at any time to save the set as a draft. It can be edited at any time. A draft version can be viewed in the Requirement Sets tab of the Recipient Profile.
  14. Click Publish when the set is finished and ready to be used on Product Details pages and to distribute to Recipients.
