We have tankers of liquid that represent the order unit, dispatch unit, invoice unit and base unit. What hierarchy level(s) should I be using for this type of product.

Hello, Food_Fiend. This really is a great question. Best practice would be to use the "Each" Product Type and make the Unit Indicators "True" on the Each and describe the product via attribution in IM.

Hello, @Food_Fiend, and welcome to the 1WS customer community. Thank you for reaching out. I want to make sure I understand before providing an answer. So, your product is sold to your trading partners by the truckload/tanker. Can you describe the product?

Hello, It is simply tankers of liquid egg. It is typically used by our food ingredient customers such as baking companies. The majority of our items are variations of a pallet - case hierarchy (might have an each or a display - each). I have no idea how to express a tanker in IM.

I apologize as the term "tanker" could mean a few different things. Can you provide a link showing me an example of what this looks like in your context?

Here is a site that has a bunch of them for sale. Food grade tanker trailers.

Hello. Due to the limited number of items we have like this, we have decided not to automate these. Therefore, I am working with the master data department to enter these by hand so it will be awhile before they perform this activity. We will accept the recommendation to put it at the each level barring finding a reason not to. Thanks for your guidance.
