Replacing a NFP

kxsRSC

I have an item that has an old NFP and need to replace it with a new one.  I watched the video of replacing assets.  However, I am at a loss at getting to the asset list as I am not sure how the current NFP on the item was loaded.  Is there any way I can delete the NFP from the item and then upload the new?

Hello @kxsRSC and thank you for continuing the use of the customer community. Welcome back and happy Friday!

Uploading a new NFP to the GTIN will add a second nutrition facts table for the item.

You can remove any of the extra NFPs on the item by using the "-" (minus button to the right of the table header as highlighted below):

Hello @kxsRSC and thank you for the follow-up.

The NFP displayed in Item Management when using the "Show NFP" function is not the actual uploaded one, but one our system creates under a standard format we use with the data that was entered for that specific item.

You are receiving the Review message from your screenshot because the Measurement Precision codes for Nutrient Quantity and for Percentage of Daily Value Intake have not yet been added:

The view above is after adding the Food and Beverage Products playlist in Item Management.

Republishing is not needed for most retailers and Review messages, but necessary for Rejected items or responses as in the latter case the retailers do not check item updates unless a Republish is processed. For most Review messages, Saving the item is sufficient.

If I upload a new NFP to the GTIN without deleting the current, will it automatically replace the old one or will it show both?

Thanks for the assistance!

I am still having an issue with the attached NFP.  I uploaded a new one, confirmed it & then followed the steps above using the minus sign and matching the data to the new NFP.  When I went back in, it is still showing the older NFP.  How can I get rid of the old NFP?  This is what I need to delete so I can upload the new one.

Hello @kxsRSC and thank you for the follow-up.

Can you please let us know which piece of information in not updating in the NFP? After checking the image and the data currently added in IM for the GTIN 00077260003508, I was unable to find discrepancies. If there are no discrepancies between data and text, then the wrong NFP may have been removed. Thank you.

Hi Val - the pic of the NFP above an old one.  Here is a pic of the newer NFP that needs to be loaded.   The amount per serving is still correct and the data associated with it, but I would prefer to have this newer NFP attached.

If you are saying the data is correct, then I am not understanding this CIC message.  What am I missing?

Maybe it is a timing thing?  I validated the item 00077260003508 and it did validate successfully, so I just republished 30077260003509 as NEW to 0811600010005.
