Is there documentation on how the different dates fields affect the product listing? I want to understand the different applications of, say, the last ship date and the discontinued date. Thanks for your help.
Hello @amyb . Yes those are two different concepts. When you create an item it is actually registered with the Global Registry. Before an item can be published and synchronized it must be a registered item. You can populate the Discontinued Date with a current date to unregister an item but do not do so while it is published. If you will no longer need an item or if you made mistakes creating an item you can ask us to purge them from IM and the Global Registry.
