Over the past 6-12 months, aligning better with industry standards to reduce our cost to serve has become a top priority from Stores leadership, particularly from our CEO Doug Herrington. To support this, we have partnered with 1WorldSync to leverage the Global Data Synchronization Network (“GDSN”) for the exchange of product information.
In 2025, GDSN will not be used to update your existing catalog listings, but will drive consistent/accurate foundational data for fulfillment and procurement improvements. We are asking you to begin synchronizing your Amazon assortment and associated supply chain information, including packaging configuration, weights and dimensions, and ingredient and allergen information via the GDSN.

- Download the Amazon US GDSN Implementation Guide for review and step-by-step instructions.
*Please pay close attention to Section 1.2.2 on how to “Connect to Amazon GDSN through your Vendor Central”, including the information on selecting Vendor Codes, before you publish to Amazon via the GDSN.
- Quick Reference: Amazon's GLN is 0848719000016. Publish your items as “Initial Load”.
