How to find IM documentation

It's very difficult to find documentations related to a specific release (IMPD, release Notes, XML schema, ...)

Is there any plan to improve the usability of this site?

Where can I find all documents related to IM 8.31?

I agree. We struggle to find documentation that was easily available in the Solution Center. Is 1WS planning training for the Community Platform in light of the retirement of the Solution Center? It is needed and should be made a priority!

Hello and thank you for reaching out. I appreciate your feedback and am happy to answer yes, we are updating the community and that project will wrap up before the end of this year. I will certainly use your feedback to further improve the ease of finding these docs. I provided you some links below specific to each doc you mentioned so please let me know if anything else is needed.

In addition to these links, you can find these docs in the Product Support/Technology & Release Updates and the Product Support/Item Management drop downs. You can also use the search functionality to find docs and conversations. I recommend our users subscribe to areas that are commonly used so you will receive a notification as the docs are updated and others are added. You can simply do that anywhere in the community by looking in t he right corner at the three-dot or "kabob" many and clicking Subscribe. It is just as easy to unsubscribe if you change your mind.

Product Support/Technology & Release Updates \ IM Release Notes doesn't render any documentation for the May release. Where can I find the Schema samples?

Hello @DGilles and thank you for reaching out. We actually just launched the redesign of the community yesterday and I am currently working on enhancing some of the structure for improved navigation. I cannot locate the IM 8.42 and 8.43 documentation even though the live date is approaching. Please advise on the location of technical release documentation.

Hello @Innovit . Thanks for your patience. The IMPDs for 8.42 and 8.43 are being worked on currently and should be available late next week or early the following week. Both of these likely will be released at the same time.

Release notes will also be available closer to the actual release dates.

You can subscribe to these areas of the Community so you get updates when we updates or add documentation to these areas.

Hi, I think, there should be an improvement in locating Releases notes from the site. I have spent some handful of time trying to download the May 2024 release but it seems scattered. Please can the product team help improve this please. It should be more user friendly.

Hello @Oluwalana45 and thank you for your feedback. I added information about the Large Release to the Release notes page as you noted. It is added in the main body and on the side menu as well.

It is also featured on the home page of the Community. I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any other questions.
