Hello. Thanks for reaching out to us in regards to the images DPI. This field is locked from when the image is loaded into Item Management. When I exported the images and reloaded them into Item Management they did come through as 300 DPI. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

Good morning,

My images are showing up in IM with 118x118 dpi file resolution description when they are 300x300 dpi.

The File Resolution Description box is greyed out, unlike the other attributes.

This is for item 00030800300086.

I've attached a screen shot of the properties for this specific item in question.

There are several items being flagged with this same issue, and all of our items are 300x300dpi.

Can you please help me get this resolved so these can flow through correctly to Kroger?

Thanks in advance!

A_Flower

So this field doesn't automatically update when we add new images?

Are you telling me i'm going to have to reload every one of my images for Kroger?

When I add new images, I usually just click and drag from my file.

When you say export, does that mean the same as upload?

Hello. I have an update for you and admit I learned on this one too. So, a good question from you. DAM extracts data very similar to the link below and we do not really recommend using software like Paint. If you use the link below and then drag your image in question and execute it for download, you will see the X and Y resolution show exactly what DAM is showing in IM. My recommendation would be to correct the image and upload it again. Once you do so, the metadata will update as well and if it meets requirements, you will not have a need to change the metadata in question any further.

A similar way to how the following apps extract metadata: https://www.metadata2go.com/

Please let me know how this goes for you.
