Pallet Level

Hello. We have items setup in IM with pallet levels. But our customer is saying its required to put pallet info in the non GTIN pallet attribute on the case level in addition to the GTIN attribute on the pallet level. I dont understand why we would need to duplicate the information, this seems inefficient. Is this a failing of the recipient to use the hierarchy data accurately or is this actually what is expected? I have not heard this from anyone else for any of our other items that have pallet levels. Please advise what is the standard for hierarchy's with pallet levels for inputting ti-high information.

The Pallet Ti/Hi information is usually required on the highest level of the hierarchy, and the Non-GTIN or GTIN Pallet information will be added, depending on the Product Type. In your case, you would only need to add the GTIN Pallet Ti/ Hi at the Pallet level.

However, some recipients might have specific requirements, in which case we recommend adding the Non-GTIN Pallet information at the Case level, and you can only share it with them, so as not to impact other publications. You can do so by adding their GLN in the fields below:

Please note that the GTIN and Non-GTIN Pallet information should be mutually exclusive, so if you add the Non-GTIN Pallet Ti/Hi, the GTIN ones should be left blank.

The customer had to make sure the pallet level was setup in their system and linked correctly to the case. Thanks for the recommendation to setup pallet info on the case level that was just for a single recipient. That would have been my solution if the customer had not been able to solve the issue internally.
