Is unlinking the EACH from inactive DISPLAY necessary?

Good morning team!

I have to discontinue Gtin 00071072011393 from 1WS since this Display has been made inactive in our system.

However, the EACHES linked to this particular Display are still active and currently linked to active CASES.

Can I delete publication from customers and discontinue the Display while the EACHES are still linked to it? Will this action not affect the CASES that are still active?

It's good chatting with you again!

Yes, you can discontinue and delete the publications on GTIN 00071072011393. This would not impact the publications on the CASEs.

The CASE hierarchies would be affected only if you were to make changes to the EACH GTINs (such as saving an update on one of the EACH levels, which would trigger a Modify to be sent to your active trading partners for all the hierarchies the EACHs are a part of).
