Hello,

Are you referring to the difference in a General and Targeted subscription? Essentially a "General" subscription allows recipients to subscribe to larger groups based on Target Markets. For example, a "General Subscription" could create a subscription strictly for "United States" (US), "Canada" (CA), etc. However, a "Targeted" subscription is when a "Trading Partner" (Company) subscribes directly to another "Trading Partner" (Company). Meaning if a company that is a recipient has a "Targeted" subscription and another company publishes to them without subscribing the publication will not successfully deliver.

Thanks!

Hi-

Is there any training on this? I was reviewing our subscriptions and we have 134, but when I go into "manage subscriptions" I only see 2 (tried pulling by GLN too). I also pulled the subscription schedule and saw 92. I am also trying to figure out what to do with the subscriptions.

Thanks!

Note: This question was moved from the PowerReviews space to Item Management on 4.16.26. In the original chat, see the conversation below after the original question that occurred before this was moved to IM:

From @FLPomeroy :

Hello Jacqueline, and thank you for your question!

I want to ensure we're answering the right questions for the right products. Subscriptions in PowerReviews typically only center around reports. Are you working within another one of our products, like Item Management?

From @jacquelinehays

Yes, it was in item management. It started when I was cleaning up some inactive items and noticed who we were publishing to. I didn't know 1/2 the companies, and it led me to look at all subscriptions. I wasn't sure how I was supposed to use subscriptions or how they had been used in the past with our company.
