Kroger Failure

Good morning,

I had a few synchronization errors and when I went in to correct them, below is what I received back.

I'm not sure if this means the whole publication failed or just the update.

Can you please tell me what I need to do to get these cleared?

Hello @A_Flower, thanks for continuing the use of the community. Welcome back.

For item 00030800911008, for example, it was initially published on August 18th with the following failure message:

Please make sure at least one level of your hierarchy (usually the highest, but there can be exceptions) is set up as Ordering Unit Indicator and Dispatch Unit Indicator as True for the synchronization to no longer fail.

These two indicators can be added differently for Kroger and for other retailers on the same item, if needed:

Please make sure to use the API GLNs for this and not the regular The Kroger Company GLN, if these need to be different for Kroger and for other retailers.

The most recent failure message is the following for the same GTIN:

The item has not yet been successfully published to the Kroger API Certification Queue GLN 0838016000123. For it to be published successfully, it needs to receive a Synchronised status, at which point it can be submitted to the Certified Items for Kroger API GLN 0838016000116 to be assigned an IMF number and be ready for orders.

We noticed the same issue for hierarchy 00030800901009.

GTIN 10030800519003 is currently failing to sync because of the below:

Please make sure the First Ship Date is added on item 10030800519003 for the synchronisation to no longer fail. Thanks!

GTIN 10030800519003 has this additional First Ship information for Wakefern only at the moment in Item Management:

Updating Media

You can either set this attribute as visible for all retailers, or add another value specifically for the Kroger API Certification Queue, please.

Can you please also help us with the GTIN the first screenshot in your post is from to have a look at that item in the systems as well? Thanks!

GTIN 00030800911008 is also successfully published and sent to the Kroger API GLN as intended and awaiting review:

Once you start using the Kroger API process instead of Product Introduction, you can ignore the publications to The Kroger Company GLN 0011110000019. Hope this helps. Thanks!

One more question. Do I need to wait for for the sync status report to say synchronized before I publish my items to the final GLN 0838016000116 and when it's time to publish, do I publish as New or Initial Load?

Hello @A_Flower ,

Please await the updated CIC (Catalog Item Confirmation) status from the Kroger API Certification Queue (GLN 0838016000123). Once it shows "Synchronized" indicating your item has passed QA you may proceed to publish your items to the final Certified Items GLN (0838016000116).

If this represents a new item setup for Kroger and you require an IMF (Item Maintenance Form) number, please submit it as New.
Conversely, if the item already exists in the system and you're making updates that do not require an IMF, please use the Initial Load option.
