New Item Set Up With a Different Case Pack

Hello:

I am a beginner with 1WORLDSYNC.

I want to set up a product that is case pack of 6.

We do already have this same product already set up as a case pack of 12.

What is the process for this? Do I have to set up a completely new item for a case of 6 or is there a shortcut?

Hello @PJCMFR thank you for reaching out to our customer community. Welcome. Based on GS1 Guidelines,GS1 Tools - Do I Need a New GTIN. A change to the number of trade items in a case or a change to the quantity of cases in a pre-defined pallet configuration requires assignment of a new GTIN. Because your case has more than a 20% change, you will need to create a new Case GTIN for the case pack of 6.

A shortcut for this hierarchy configuration add is to clone the existing case to create the new one Video: IM "How To" Tutorial Video - Item Clone. Once the new case is ready, you can link it to the existing consumer unit and publish the highest level to your retailers.
