Edit Hierachy and update Product

We have moved from a unit/inner case of 6/master case of 24 to only a unit and case of 6. How do I update the hierarchy to remove the master case?

Hello @Ssnlzbth and welcome to our customer community. Thanks for joining. Yours is a good question that we get sometimes. Take a look at this article, which includes a video we just added, to help customers like you with these concepts.

From a standards perspective, the big question is whether you published the old hierarchy configuration to any of your customers. If so, the recommended and best practice is to create a new hierarchy with a new parent GTIN to reflect the additional hierarchy type. If you want to change this existing hierarchy you would first withdraw publications for the GTINs in that hierarchy (see the link below), wait 25 hours before making any other changes, and then you can change the hierarchy structure in IM.
