Foodservice Items: Case vs Each

I have an item e.g. 1x20 Lbs Rice. It is sold by the case (sack) with no retail option. Should I create a Case and each for this item with identical attributes or should it be only Case or Each. When I do only one, it appears as a broken or incomplete link with no hierarchy (red link). Grateful for your guidance.

You could try to only build the case and set up the item as a bulk item Kroger VIP - How to Corner - Identifying a BULK Item in VIP but it would be a better idea to talk with the buyer/recipient to see what they want the item hierarchy to look like as they have to approve the item ultimately.

Your company also has onboarding so you could talk with your onboarding agent about this as well.
