Incorrect Link - won't let me update

Good afternoon,

I accidentally created and incorrect link. I noticed it shortly after I published the item so I unpublished (this was unpublished yesterday) it in order to fix the link, however I keep getting an error saying that the item is still published so I cannot delete the current link in order to link the correct item. The item that is supposed to be linked is 00030034933081.

In some cases you have to wait 25 hours after publication to make changes to the hierarchy.

There are very specific circumstances that require a publication to be withdrawn/deleted. In fact, if you are attempting to change 5 specific attributes in your hierarchy, then you must withdraw/delete the publication and wait 25 hours before applying the update. The attributes are below:

Deleting a Special Item Code
Changing Trade Item Non-Physical
Unlinking a GTIN from your hierarchy
Updating the link quantity/Quantity of Next Level Items
Changing Base Unit Indicator

The directions in the link you provided are the exact same steps I was following when I received the error. Will try again tomorrow, although it has been over 25 hours (per @A_Flower response below) since I have unpublished and tried to unlink the items.

Hello @sbrewster . If you Case GTIN in question is part of another hierarchy that is published you would have to remove that pub as well but let's look at this another way. I looked in IM and see you want to actually create a new Hierarchy with Case GTIN 00030034933081 and link it to child GTIN 00030034933081. You can create a new configuration without deleting the existing one.
