Quantity of Next Level Item(s) and Global Product Code (GPC)

Hi,

I am trying to figure out what the Quantity of Next Level Item(s) stands for. If I am setting up a product that will have 12 pieces in a case and the minimum order quantity for that product will be 150 cases. Global Product Code (GPC) I am assuming is something I will need to ask the vendor department coordinator we are onboarding products to?

Hello! Welcome to the Community! The quantity of Next Level items indicates the total count of all products within this item. For example, a Case of 12 Jars (or Eaches) would have a Quantity of Next Level Item(s) of 12. As for the Jar (or the Each), Quantity of Next Level Item would be 1.

Used by a buyer and/or consumer to understand what type of product they are receiving; also used for inventory/warehouse management.

Also, the Global Product Code (GPC) is Code specifying a product category according to the GS1 Global Product Classification (GPC) standard. I found both definitions by searching each attribute within our 1 World Sync Participant Dictionary. Attached below contains the link!

I am sorry I was following the new item setup video and I think I misunderstood the GPC with the Global classification code that appears to be made out of numbers. Sorry for misleading you.

Could please share how do i get the Global classification code? My assumption is that this is mean to be specific for the type of item I am onboarding.

The GS1US website has a GPC browser that you can reference to get the proper GPC code for your product.

Please review this and let us know if you find the GPC you need.
