&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Not typically recipient-specific GTINs are assigned and live in the recipient system If you want to do this, then you will need a new item record with the GTIN being the recipient. But then you need to label the packaging with that GTIN so that receiving and such can scan correctly. Can you tell us what "not being recognized" means?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Is it possible to embed products with retailer-specific UPCs?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Our products are all variable weight, and so although they have GTINs we identify them by, retailers use their own printed barcodes for our products. This has led to our publications not being recognized in the systems of our customers.&lt;/P&gt;
