Wakefern Pet - validations

My understanding of Features/benefits and several other validation fields is that they are needed for the base/consumer unit (for us, usually an each). Why are these validations being applied to parent items like case. Seems like we could ignore them.

Hello @LCGP1x and thank you for reaching out via our customer community. Welcome. Can you tell me if you have the Wakefern playlist applied to the GTINs where you are getting these validations? If so, that is expected behavior. The playlists are used to aggregate attributes but also to require certain ones based on the needs of the recipient assigned to the playlist. Some recipients require you use their playlist to help you make sure you are meeting their attribute requirements. If you are unsure as to whether Wakefern wants you to use the playlist on non-consumer levels (i.e. Cases) then I recommend you either try sending one that way or reach out to your contacts there for clarification as well.
