Gross Weight on Pallets

I am getting errors on Gross Weights when trying to link pallets to cases and eaches. I have only entered Gross Weight for the Pallets. How and why is it giving me an error?

I also have some hierarchies with errors - how can you delete a hierarchy and start over to link them correctly?

Hello @Cynthia_Beggs and thank you for reaching out via our customer community. Welcome. It is important to keep in mind when creating these hierarchies, that the weights of a parent like a pallet must be equal to or greater than the quantity of items below it multiplied by the weight of its immediate child item. For example if you have a pallet/case hierarchy, and your Case is 10 pounds and there are 20 cases on the pallet, the weight of the pallet must be at a minimum 200 pounds.

If you have not published your hierarchy, you can break it apart in IM and correct it if needed, If it is published you will need to withdraw the publication, wait 25 hours, and then make corrections. Take a look here for more details
