when setting up an item that is like a "case of soda" what do you use for the UMO. For this type of item the case is the each, so we are running into conflict when setting it up. Just looking to see what others are doing for this type of item.

Hi! Yes that is what I am talking about so when we have a 'carton' of something and that is how it comes and is sold it is technically an each how should we be setting it up, as a case or as an each. We have having trouble with figuring out the best way.

Hello, I asked our Service Desk Manager to have someone give you a call to help with some of your Foodservice and GDSN 101 questions to make sure you get out on the right foot. I also recommend you look in our store and sign up for our Foodservice webinar which could help you as well.

Thank you. I have done that. Different retailers are wanting different things so I was just seeing if there was a suggestion from 1ws as to what the UMO as far as case and each for an item like this would be.

Hello, I hope you had a pleasant weekend. When I look at that GTIN in IM, I only see an error from one of your trading partners for which it is published. I read that errors as they are expecting a different hierarchy structure from you so you may want to confirm that on your end. Since the product is a grouping of Eaches, correct me if I am wrong about that, then calling that a Case would be accurate and perhaps they are asking you to link the individual (point of sell) each GTIN to it as well.
