If it helps, you can hide the attribute for alternateClassification/scheme from the Digital Catalog, as it will not fit the layout selected, unfortunately, it can not be changed or abbreviated.

Hi,

I am making modifications to our current DC layout and I am facing troubles with the attribute (alternateClassification/scheme). The scheme names are too long in Item Management (e.g. UNSPSC - United Nations Standard Products and Services Code) and the entire name is appearing in my DC layout which makes it difficult to input the value beside the scheme.

Is there any workaround/solution for this? I've tried configuring multiple columns to work around this issue, but the naming conventions are too long and it's making it difficult to display the data.

I've attached a screenshot below of what I am talking about.

Thank you.

Hello @minhlam and thank you for reaching out to our customer community.

You can remove or rename attributes using the filter editor so that the names would not be that long in the digital catalog.

Here is a guide on how to do that Digital Catalog Filter Editor Overview. You can also look at all the other training material we have for the digital catalog https://community.1worldsync.com/t5/Digital-Catalog-Training/ct-p/DCTrainingOpportunities .

If you have any further questions please let me know. Thank you and have a great day.

Hi @alien,

In the image above, I have already renamed the attribute using the filter editor. The issue I have is the populated attributes below it (see the bullet points in the image posted). The attribute (alternateClassification/scheme) has been renamed as "Item Classification Code" and the populated attributes below it have very long names. I want to rename or abbreviate the data below it, eg. Product Classification Database (Center for Devices and Radiological Health) as the names are too long it messes with the alignment of the code (covered by red box).

Please let me know if this is something I can do in DC or IM.

Thank you.

To answer your question the values for those attributes come from Item management so if you want to change them or abbreviate then you would need to make the changes in Item Management and wait for those changes to also reflect in the Digital Catalog.

If you have any further questions please let me know. Thank you and have a great day.

Hi @alien,

I am unable to make those changes in Item Management as they are selected from a dropdown option. These attributes are compulsory to link them to FDA GUDID, so there are no other alternative attributes for this connection. I don't have any control to modify or abbreviate the attributes in Item Management; I can only modify the values of that attribute.

Is there any other solution to this?

Kind regards,
Minh
