Onboarding of new manufacturer

Hello,

we want to add a new manufacturer which is not yet included in the 1WorldSync database.

We receive our data via the 1WorldSync ContentConnector.

What would be the process to add the product portfolio of a new manufacturer to the data pool that 1WorldSync will send to us?

I am happy to take a look for you to help where I can but I request you provide some additional context to help me troubleshoot this with you. Can you please provide me with your DataSource account ID? I am also curious what Manufacturer you are trying to add.

thank you for your reply. I sent you a private message with further information regarding the account ID. The manufacturers we want to onboard - to name a few - are:

We have more manufacturers missing in our catalogue - hence the question about a process to onboard these manufacturers.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for the details!

Any SKUs from any brand are only added to DataSource when a first requestor (PULL-type account) requests them.

There's no specific process for an SKU from a new brand/manufacturer to be requested. Each product is built individually by our production team.

For a PUSH-type account, you receive all SKUs that exist in your market, this means that any SKU you don't receive has not been requested by any requestor in your market yet.

As a PUSH customer you can't add new SKUs to our catalogue, only receive those that are already there.

As an example with the 3 brands you mention, they have indeed few products requested and most of the time in different regions.

matrix42 has indeed only 1 SKU that has been requested so far.

FS has more SKUs, but all of them are requested in the US market.

Hornetsecurity has 1 SKU requested in France and Belgium.

I only have one question left. Our company has a PUSH-type account. Can you give an estimation what the price difference between a PUSH-type and a PULL-type account is?

Hi Michael,

Prices for a PULL will vary depending on the market(s)/language(s) and importantly the amount of new SKUs you want to be able to request.

I've shared your request with my colleague who manages your account. He will reach out with some proposals very soon.
